” … like butterflies who flutter for a day and think it’s forever.”

- Dr. Carl Sagan

For good reason, I do not remember anything from the first time we met. I have been told about that day a million times but I couldn’t remember it if I tried.

One of the best days of your life? Well, thank you :)

You’re funny. And so cute. I know that some people don’t like being called cute, sometimes they feel it trivializes their importance, but I don’t even mean it like that.

I just mean, sincerely, I just want to see you happy. Even on the phone you sound adorable. Even when you’re telling me about something stressful or about a traumatic day, like when one of us have issues and we work through them together…

I don’t know, I just think, I just…I don’t know.

It’s not quite there with the i-can-call-you-anytime thing, because you’re always busy, but more like i-know-if-you-weren’t-we-would. And the last thing I want you to feel is that maybe I don’t value you as much as you do me, or that you’re not one of the most important people in my life, because that’s just not true.
You’re my… I don’t even know… you’re just my every day.

Happy Father’s day (fars dag) to my father and all of the responsible, wonderful fathers out there!

Stay Fabulous ;)
